Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority Bill receives Presidential assent

President Droupadi Murmu gave assent to the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority Bill 2026, announced by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on 25 October. The authority concerns eastern Nagaland districts represented by the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation.
