Zoological Survey of India releases 22-volume Lepidoptera catalogue

The Zoological Survey of India completed its first detailed 22-volume catalogue of Lepidoptera, documenting 13,703 butterfly and moth species found in India. The count includes 1,417 butterfly species and 12,286 moth species, about 8.25 per cent of global lepidoptera diversity. (Verify before publishing.)
