Under an amendment to the PM E-DRIVE scheme, incentives for electric two-wheelers were revised to Rs 2,500 per kWh with a cap of Rs 5,000 per vehicle, applicable through March 2028. The scheme carries a total outlay of Rs 11,900 crore to accelerate EV adoption. (Verify before publishing.)
