Magnus Carlsen wins Esports World Cup chess title in Paris

Norwegian Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen won his second consecutive Esports World Cup chess title at the event held in Paris from 11 to 15 August 2026. He beat Denis Lazavik 2-0 in the final and remained undefeated through the tournament.
